Alexis Vaughan
Alexis has practiced exclusively in the area of Family Law since the commencement of her legal career in 2006, and since then has maintained a passion for working with clients through this often challenging and emotionally charged area of the law. Alexis joined Keating Lehn in 2009.
Alexis holds a Bachelor of Laws / Bachelor of Business (International Business) (Distinction) from Queensland University of Technology, and a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the College of Law, Queensland.
In 2017, Alexis obtained Specialist Accreditation in Family Law from the Queensland Law Society, and was recognised as achieving the highest mark in Queensland in her cohort.
Alexis has also been recognised for the past several years as a leading Family Lawyer on the Gold Coast by the Doyle’s Guide to the Legal Profession. In 2024 she was ranked as:

Alexis believes in providing her clients with clear and practical advice, and understands the importance of listening with empathy. She also understands that reaching respectful and child focused outcomes is something that can often be lost sight of after separation, and she will work with her clients to reach such outcomes where possible.
Alexis is well experienced in representing her clients through negotiation, mediation and other methods of alternative dispute resolution and, where required, through litigation in the Federal Circuit and Family Courts.
