Early Neutral Evaluation

Early Neutral Evaluation (ENE) is another means of dispute resolution offered to our clients.  In this process, both the Husband and Wife refer their issues in dispute to an Independent Neutral Evaluator / Family Law Specialist who is then able to provide both parties with an evaluation of the likely outcome for them if the matter were to be litigated through the Court system.

The couple jointly retain the Evaluator and can attend meetings together or separately at their discretion.  The process is flexible, informal and private.  The Evaluator and clients determine how the matter is to proceed – i.e. in relation to gathering of the information necessary for an evaluation to be prepared.

The evaluation is unbiased and based on that couple’s unique set of circumstances. This process is timely and cost effective, and assists separating couples to move forward in their lives with their families without protracted and costly litigation.

Kate Keating, Accredited Family Law Specialist, is available to act as an Evaluator in this model.
